Before his illness Douglas Tate discussed with David and Ena Reilly the re-issue of the Tommy Reilly Harmonica Course as a companion to the Studies book he had already edited. Regrettably his illness intervened whilst the project was still in its infancy.

The course book remains faithful to the original 1969 text at the Reilly family’s request and the original LP audio tracks have been tuned and transferred to two CDs to accompany the course.

  

The ring bound book contains 28 lessons with over 80 mins of audio support played by Tommy accompanied by James Moody on the piano. It is suitable for beginner to intermediate level students and it teaches music reading and theory alongside harmonica technique
